The project was developed in the context of Angela Eberhardt’s work with 2DODESIGN.
The design is based on the idea of a coherent product system: different backrest versions, armrests, upholstery options, materials and color combinations form a flexible family for contemporary working environments.
A defining element is the continuous flow of lines between backrest, seat and arm structure. Open frames, textile surfaces and carefully developed details create a balance between technical precision, ergonomic function and visual lightness.
A special focus was placed on Color, Material and Finish development, including textile surfaces, 3D-knitted fabrics, textures and the armpad structure. These details were not treated as secondary elements, but as essential parts of the chair’s identity, shaping both its visual character and tactile experience.
Focus: a swivel chair family with ergonomic intelligence, material sensitivity and a clear, distinctive identity.
In the context of changing work environments, industrial production and long-lasting product design.
