AURAY
Design development of AURAY, a leadchair for König + Neurath AG, created by 2 D O D E S I G N.
The chair combines a flowing, matt chrome-plated frame with a calm, seamless upholstery concept. A key design feature is the way the cushion is integrated into the silhouette: soft, continuous and precise, without appearing added or fragmented.
The control buttons were developed as discreet functional details, carefully embedded into the overall design language of the chair. Together, frame, upholstery, stitching, edges and controls create a refined executive chair with clarity, comfort and material presence.
Focus: seamless upholstery, matt chrome-plated surfaces, precise detailing and a strong yet understated identity for contemporary executive workspaces.
